Early intervention coaching for children who need emotional support, confidence building, or help regulating their feelings - aligned with school safeguarding and Early Help duties.

I support children who are experiencing big emotions, worries, friendship challenges or difficulty regulating in school or at home. My sessions are gentle, practical and child‑centred - helping pupils feel calmer, more confident and ready to learn.

I work with both families and schools, offering early intervention that prevents concerns from escalating and reduces pressure on staff.

Who I Support

Children who may be experiencing:

  • big emotions or emotional overwhelm

  • worries, anxiety or low confidence

  • friendship or social challenges

  • difficulty settling or staying regulated

  • sensitivity or perfectionism

  • trouble expressing feelings

What I Offer

Here are the different ways I support children, families and schools.

Helping young people navigate emotions, friendships, confidence and life’s wobbles.

Gentle, practical sessions using conversation, creativity and play to help children feel calmer, more confident and ready to learn.

What is a Life Coach?

A children’s life coach supports young people with their emotional wellbeing, confidence and resilience. Coaching is gentle, practical and forward focused - helping children understand their feelings, build coping tools and feel more confident in themselves.

Coaching is not about fixing children. It’s about giving them a safe, calm space to explore their emotions, learn new skills and feel supported by a trusted adult.

Coaching is early, gentle, preventative support.
Counselling is therapeutic support.
Therapy is clinical support.
Mentoring is guidance.

Coaching sits beautifully in the Early Help space - helping children before concerns escalate.

Honestly, I cannot recommend Amy enough. She has helped change all our lives for the better and our communication as a family has been amazing since. I've noticed such a change in how my girls see themselves and the confidence they now have.
